Το Pi Network είναι μια επαναστατική εφαρμογή του SocialChain που δημιουργήθηκε από μια ομάδα αποφοίτων του πανεπιστημίου Stanford στην Καλιφόρνια των ΗΠΑ, με στόχο να προάγει τη γνώση και να διευκολύνει την πρόσβαση των καθημερινών ανθρώπων στα κρυπτονομίσματα. 

Η ομάδα δημιουργίας του Pi Network αποτελείται από τους: Dr. Nicolas Kokkalis,, την Dr. Chengdiao Fan και τον Vincent McPhillip.
